The fabric really does feel buttery-soft, and the 47"x49" size gives me plenty of room to wrap her snug without wrestling. She finally settles quickly, and the hat covers her little ears perfectly.
My little one actually sleeps in this swaddle now, which is a miracle for us. The generous 47"x49" size makes wrapping far easier than other blankets we tried, and the natural stretch holds snug without feeling too tight.
