Wore this straight out of the wash and it stayed soft, no pilling at all. The sewn-in tie belt is the detail I didn't know I needed, it never goes missing in the laundry. Pockets actually fit my phone and a pacifier without sagging.
The fabric is genuinely buttery-soft, exactly like the description says. I've washed it twice already and it still feels just as smooth, no pilling at all. The sewn-in belt is a nice touch too since it actually stays put.
The pockets are way roomier than I expected, so I can stash my phone and nursing pads and actually have my hands free. And the sewn-in tie belt is a small thing but it means I'm not constantly hunting for a lost sash.
